I was watching in Y0utube a small report by a Polish girl about what can be found in a supermarket in her locality, specifically Carref0ur; I was struck by the price of a pack of beers: six C0rona extra beers, of Mexican origin, for 23 zloty (4.89 euros). In a supermarket near where I live (same supermarket franchise) the same beer costs 1.09 euros... a single bottle, not the package; And that being on offer, the price without offer for a bottle is 1.30 euros.

I have not found the same package in the same supermarket in Spain, but I have found in France: 8.05 euros.

Why these price differences? Sellers argue that costs vary depending on where the product is produced, the price of raw materials, logistics costs, etc. Put more simply, what we finally pay is the sum of the product itself and what all the intermediaries take until they reach our hand.

But... so much difference of product and intermediaries is there for the same product, same origin and destinations: Spain, France and Poland? I find it hard to believe. Knowing the greed of the economic system in which we live (all, worldwide) it is easier to think that the differences go elsewhere.

For example what we are willing to pay without much complaint. You go to the supermarket today and pay 1 euro for a product, you are used to it and it seems adequate; The next time you go you find that it has risen a few cents barely: 1.05 euros, from the media they have bombarded you so much with news about how bad the economy is for any reason (or sum of reasons) that you think the rise is appropriate and you get used to the new price again. That will happen every so often, one way or another you will always be informed of the difficulties of the economic system and that reducing the value of your income or paying more for the same is the only solution.

The reasons are obvious, on the one hand the greed of the economic system, whose sole purpose is accumulation by a few through the exploitation of the majority (another day we will talk about slavery); on the other the ineptitude (real or feigned) of those who could remedy the foundations of that economic system: politicians, bankers and the like; that being a few and seeing themselves not only benefited by the system but controllers and builders of that same system, they have no other interest but to perpetuate it and make it more efficient for their benefit.

I would talk about the electricity bill, to give more flagrant examples; But is it necessary?

So the next time you go shopping and see how the bill goes up do not worry, you will soon get used to it... until the next one.
